Reply from A mother

Sure, beta

I would absolutely love to spend some exclusive time with you—just us, mother and daughter—not worrying about anything else. Such moments would be precious, but have you ever paused to think about the ‘others’ whom you are talking about? They’re not burdens or interruptions; they’re the people who make up our world—our beloved family.

Being a woman means being blessed with the ability to care, nurture, and create harmony. This is not a responsibility imposed on us—it is a gift from nature itself. Just as the earth nourishes life without complaint, we women are naturally attuned to provide care and love, especially for those we hold dear. Taking care of one’s family, being the emotional anchor, and offering support in both joy and hardship is not a “load” to bear. It’s a privilege, a role we embrace out of love and connection, not compulsion.

You know, beta, no one survives alone in this world. We all depend on one another in countless ways. This interdependence is the foundation of life, and family is where it all begins. Our culture has always celebrated this beautiful bond—it’s what makes us strong, what knits us together as families, as communities, and ultimately, as a society. These family values are not shackles; they are threads that hold us together, giving our lives meaning and purpose.

That said, I do agree that we all need a break from the routine now and then, to pause and recharge. And what better way to do that than to spend uninterrupted time with my daughter? But don’t you think it is equally required for your father too? Had he ever tried to spend his vacations without us? Infact we always think of you and your availability since your childhood to plan our vacations.

So, if you truly wish for such a vacation with me let’s take this time to celebrate our bond and I am sure ‘the others’ will also be happy of this

Love you always,
